Track Tutor Player
The companion player app for singers.
The web app handles the work of running a group. The Player app handles the work of being in one. Same multitrack mixer, same playlists, plus a few extras that only make sense on a phone — offline cache, lock-screen controls, and the lights stay on (figuratively) when the screen goes off.
What you get
- ✓The full mixer. Up to six channel strips, fader per part, mute, solo, and PRE — exactly the same as the web. Your practice mix carries between songs in a playlist.
- ✓Offline cache.Tap download on a song to keep it on the device. Rehearsal in the church basement with the spotty Wi-Fi? Not a problem we've heard of.
- ✓Lock-screen and Bluetooth controls. Play, pause, and skip from the lock screen, headphones, or your car. Audio keeps going when the screen turns off.
- ✓Same account, same groups. Sign in once with email or Google. Whatever your group manager has set up shows up here.
- ✓Lyrics tab. Same adjustable font size as the web — readable on a music stand, a phone, or somewhere in between.
What it doesn't do
On purpose: the Player app is built around playback. Group management, song uploads, playlist editing, invitations, and sharing all still live in the web app. Managers run the show from a browser; everyone else just listens.
On iPhone too
The iOS app is live on the App Store. Same mixer, same playlists, with the foreground audio engine wired up the way iOS likes — so playback keeps going with the screen off. Sign in with your existing Track Tutor account and your groups are right there.
